Learning to Lead the Formation of Cities

These are two paragraphs from a new book I’m writing. They represent something I’ve been trying to say for a very long time and I couldn’t resist publishing my latest attempt.

“Correlation of building mass, space, and pavement within property cells using correlated design specification values and master equations represents an opportunity to lead the behavior of cellular content and the aggregation that follows toward a symbiotic Built Domain.
Up to this point, natural anatomies have been a divine gift containing symbiotic instructions. We have over-written these instructions with presumed intelligence while forming the Urban and Rural Phyla of the Built Domain. These phyla shelter and serve growing populations with sprawl that is a threat to our source of life, the Natural Domain. We are now expected to create a Built Domain with cellular instructions that represent a symbiotic mandate for the artificial aggregation that follows. This is a challenge from the power of the universe, and it will decide if our behavior is equal to its mandate.”
